THE BASEBALL FOUNDRY: FORGING ELITE ATHLETES

THe Fuego Way

It’s not how you start or finish; rather, it’s how you play the game. Do it with guts, grit, and your whole heart, never losing sight of why you love baseball.

Our Facility

Our state-of-the-art facility is designed to be suitable for the youngest athletes while also being durable enough to withstand the robust workouts of the most skilled and advanced players.

What's happening at the Foundry

Who to see: new people

Join us in welcoming Drew Hinton, whose favorite place is behind the dish; Coach Drew is available for batting and catching lessons; he also teaches classes in our 5 Tools Program.

Cameron Hearn joins the team from playing college ball in Alabama; a 2-way player, he loves the mound and the batter’s box. Coach Cameron gives batting and pitching lessons and he also teaches in our 5 Tools Program.

We are also thrilled that MJ Rookard has returned after his season playing for the Gary SouthShore Railcats.  MJ is back at lessons, coaching, and teaching in the 5 Tools Program.

Ammasith Phrommavanh has joined our strength and conditioning team; by day, he’s the strength and conditioning coach for Georgia State University’s baseball, softball, and men’s soccer teams.

What to do: The 5 Tools Program

What’s the difference between good and great baseball?  We believe it’s a mastery of the 5 tools of baseball: hitting, hitting for power, running, fielding, and throwing.

We have crafted the 5 Tools Program for our team members and clients that allows them the opportunity to hone each of these skills.  Situated in small-group classes of no more than 6, players can purchase a bundle these discounted sessions and use them in any fashion they see fit and in a way that best suits their player.

We offer sports performance training (speed & agility) and fielding classes in small groups.  Also on the docket are two types of batting classes: the science of the swing, which helps players hone the technical aspects of batting, and the reps, reps, reps class, which is designed to give players coach monitored reps-intense sessions.  Also included in the 5 Tools Program are pitching lessons and opportunities to work on proper throwing technique.

Visit our services page for information on the classes, including cost.  Atlanta Fuego team members and their siblings get a discounted rate; please call the front desk to inquire about team member/family pricing.
