FAQ

We advise all clients to show up 10 minutes before any lesson, cage rental, camp, clinic or training session.  This additional time allows for checking in and getting gear ready.

Sessions where clients arrive late or leave early are counted as full sessions against the monthly session package.

Sessions are paid in full at the beginning of the month; incomplete sessions do not roll over into the following month.

Lessons, sessions, camps, clinics, and other programs require a 12 hour cancellation policy unless otherwise stated.  If you are on the fence because of illness, please stay home.  Failure to give a 12-hour notice will result in the forfeiture of the prepaid lesson fee.  Teams have different policies and they are noted below in our External Team Policies section.

Team reservations cannot be made without a credit card.  Cancellations require at least a 24-hour notice in order to avoid being charged.  Cancellations should be sent via email to info@baseballfoundry.com.

In the event of a cancellation, please note that your team team might be subject to the 25% non-refundable deposit policy.

We have a large, warehouse space with 21″ ceilings, three dock doors, wall-mounted industrial exhaust fans, and strategically and directionally placed 36″ circulation fans throughout the workout area.

All players, coaches, and guests are required to wear a mask inside our facility.   People may unmask when on the mound, in the batter’s box, or when throwing – BUT ONLY IF SMART SOCIAL DISTANCING OF 10′ is maintained.

When in queue for batting or working in small groups, masks must be appropriately worn over the nose and the mouth.

Our lobby is currently closed.

For liability purposes, outside lessons, those provided by coaches that are not part of the Development First Sports Academy team, are prohibited.

Absolutely.  If you’ve never had a lesson with us before, be sure to talk with one of us so that we can help you find the right coach for your child.

These lessons are most effective when you are with a group of peers.  If you don’t have a group, we can try to help you find one, but we cannot guarantee that we will.  Do not purchase a lesson or a package unless you have your group set.

Not technically.  Unused lessons are put into the bank for our athletes that, because of financial reasons, otherwise could not attend.  Your lessons will automatically transfer if they are not used within 12 months.

Yes.  We operate on a rolling 12-month cycle.  If you purchase a package of lessons and do not use them within 12 calendar months from the date of purchase, we will donate them to D1 team players that are on financial aid.

A credit card is required to book a lesson with any coach.

Please read our cancellation policies thoroughly.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Venmo, and ZellePay.

Yes, these memberships are priced on a team-by-team basis because each team has unique needs.  Please reach out to us at info@baseballfoundry.com for more information.

Team cage rentals are pre-paid and are only secured with a credit card deposit.  Because team rentals block out a significant amount of space and take away from other rentals and lessons, cages reservations must be cancelled with a minimum 24 hour notice.

Teams looking to secure long-term space access, beyond two-weeks, must do so with a credit card and a 25% non-refundable deposit.
